Born and raised just outside New York City, Alex originally pursued a career in Musical Theatre, performing all over the country in various different musicals, plays, and operas. After the pandemic, Alex moved to DC and pivoted to professional tour guiding, and absolutely fell in love with its educated, animated storytelling.

Now, Alex pursues both with curiosity, ambition, and enthusiasm. Whether working on a new musical/opera or researching the intricacies of Victorian era Architecture, Alex is itching for the opportunity to build something new with you. Let’s explore together.

    Take advantage of Alex’s easy access to The Charters of Freedom, including the original Declaration of Independence. Engage with our founding documents like never before. Limited to six guests at a time.

  • Historic Georgetown Neighborhood Tour

    Discover and be in awe of Georgetown’s gorgeous architecture, shops, and historical figures. Gain an inside look at why Georgetown is as iconic of a neighborhood as everyone says.

  • Historic Old Town Alexandria

    Walk along the same cobblestone steps as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Marquis de Lafayette, and many more. Experience Old Town’s complex and sordid history throughout history, and learn why this small port town is the #3 small town in the US.

  • George Washington's Mount Vernon

    Freshly renovated and historically conserved, immerse yourself in the full history of what it meant to live at Mount Vernon. Allow Alex to share with you Mount Vernon’s most recent discoveries, while giving you a rare glimpse inside George Washington’s private life.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All tours listed are two hours long, with the exception of Mount Vernon which is three hours long.

    If you’d like to do an extended version of any of the tours listed, that is available upon request.

  • All tours listed, with the exception of Mount Vernon, are $250 for the entire group (up to 15 people). Due to the extended time of Mount Vernon, it is $300.

    This price reflects all logistics and guide expertise, which are necessary for a superb private tour.

  • For the National Archives, there is a strict six-person limit. This is set by The Archives Foundation.

    For all other tours, I recommend keeping it between 10-15 people. That keeps costs low per person, but still allows an intimate, private-tour feel.

  • Once you know which tour you would like to do and on what date, please fill out the form on the next page. I will respond within 12-48 hours.

    From there, we will decide on the start time of the tour and I will communicate the meeting point, along with a number to text me by. After that, off we go!
